On behalf of Frank Brennan and I, we are excited to introduce The StoryTethers Group.

A couple of years, we began our journey as professional storytellers on a different host site. We posted a number of articles and have prepared a suite of other services that all have our mission in mind – using the art of storytelling to mend the leadership gap.

As we officially launch our firm, we begin much as our country did – with a reflection on our first president.

In 1799, Congressman Henry Lee eulogized the former commander-in-chief with the words “First in war, first in peace, first in the hearts of his countrymen.”

George Washington provides us in the 21st century with many lessons. From his decision to step down from a powerful post for the greater good, to his ability to recover from a tragic leadership blunder, the “pride of Mount Vernon” has maintained popularity despite his tragic flaws because of all those lessons.

Want to dig more into Washington’s leadership lessons? Try out our first StoryCourse, People Are Brands, today!
